Today im going to get uncomfortable... that's right... uncomfortable... but its all for God's glory!

Today we are doing our last fundraiser for our mission trip in July... My SMASH group is going to be working at Pizza Inn tonight and we will get all the tips and they will go towards our mission trip to Kentucky next month... July 11-16 ... so not far away at all... I am very excited too!!

Although I admit I am a little bit nervous... its not easy for me... but I am willing to try and help tonight to do the best I can.. Eeek!!

Well I got a new camera, a dream come true for me... I have wanted a SLR Camera for a long time now and finally were able to get one... I need to save up and get some better lenses though but over all I am really happy about it.

( My Old Camera! ) It was great, and was a great step in between every day cameras and Slr camera's ... it took beautiful pictures but was not quite as beautiful as my new camera :)

So one day I decided I wanted to go ride up to a local falls, and just play with my new camera..
I am still learning so its not the best shot in the world... but yea...you get to see the falls ;) next time I go, I will take a better picture. but anyways.. my whole reasoning for going up towards the falls was I thought I could find some icicles. Well I seen one patch and was going to turn around but decided I would keep driving and drive to the look off view and take pictures... well as soon as I turned on the road... all I could think about was my wreck I had years ago... I have been up that way a few times since my wreck but never have I drove there since...and alone, at that...
And so I was a little nervous, I want lie... and I started to wonder how long is this Road!? Well I made it to the look out view

Then from this look out viewing area you can go through the Devils Kitchen to get to another look out view ...
its a really narrow place and you feel kinda trapped in the walls of the mountain... and when you look up it... its kinda errie to see the light above you but not around you...

after walking through the Devils Kitchen, I seen some really cool icicles but because of the barriers and conditions.. I was unable to get to them where I could get a good picture... but I did see few small ones...
Then I made it to Caesars head
After I drove back down the mountain very carefully and I made it, I conquered a fear! I got out there and I am glad I went!

I also have joined a photo group that challenges me to take different pictures and shots that I am still learning about... so stay tuned... for those upcoming post!

Loaded Baked Potato Soup

Ingredients

4 baking potatoes
2/3 cup butter
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
6 cup milk
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon of black peper
12 slices of bacon or 3oz real Bacon bits pack (i used oscar mayer)
5 ounces Shredded Cheddar cheese

8oz Sour Cream is option // I did not use sour cream.

Bake Potatoes for 1hr at 400F (200c) Then scoop out the inside of the potatoes and set aside. Discard the skin

Melt the Butter in a large skillet on Medium/Low heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux. Cook 1 min, stirring constantly... Then Gradually pour in the milk while stirring until all milk has been added, bring to meduim and keep stirring until its starts to get thick... add in potatoes,cheese, salt, pepper, bacon and stir then continue to let it heat 5-10mins letting the flavors blend. Then serve :)

These actually had writing and advertisement all over them for the power company...they also had energy saving light bulbs in each can...but I thought it would be a neat thing to keep some change in and crafty stuff... so I made them look nice :)

Last Sunday I was down town with my church friends and it was a beautiful night.... we went to play putt putt (mini golf) at this new indoor place which I must say was very creative for the little space they had... but this one hole... was neat... it is a bowling lane hole but what is cool was it was made from the old flooring in the building which was from the first bowling alley ever in the city.
Friday I didn't have to work but half a day so we took advantage of the time and went walking on the new trail in town... The trail goes from one city to another city... it actually follows the old rail road system and was really nice!
This is an old plant that is on the walk of the trail ... I thought it looked cool...

We got off the trail when we got to Furman University a local college...but its a really nice place for everyone to come and enjoy and place people take tons of photos at :) So theses are few of the flowers around the lake....

We took a drive and went by this is really cool old stone bridge, which was the only state road from Greenville,SC To Asheville,NC and it was built in 1820 by Abram Landing and name for Joel Roberts Poinsett.... Now it has not been in use for many many years but you can still walk off the road and find it and is still holding up!

I appoligize for the blurryness of some of the pictures, some day I will ride back up there and get more pictures, I can't wait to at fall time lol

Today I got a few things for the pets...I got Rukia a "cube" since she loves boxes so much, I thought she would enjoy this and she is enjoying it :P I also seen these cat treats, I thought that was interesting and since they were not expensive I bought a small bag to try out, so I take one and lay it on the ground near her feet she then sniffs at the treat and then sniffs at it again... then she takes my shirt that was laying on the floor and covers it up...and she kept trying to cover up it with random stuff around the treat... LOL Its funny because cats only cover up their poo... so she must have thought that treat smelled that bad lol to cover it up like that... It really was funny...

I got Harper a new bed, and new bone also this ducky/rope toy ...

When I gave him his bone, he loved it and after playing with it for almost an hour then decideds to bury it... he burried it in between some pillow/blankets that was beside our couch... then later he burried it behind the tv, covering it up with Chandlers back pack... funny thing to see your dog dragging this book bag trying to cover it up... and at one point he was "burring" at invisible dirt and then covering it back up with his nose... it was priceless!

And all of this funny pet adventures happened all on Tuesday lol

Today I tested and tried to make my own decorated fortune cookies for the wedding and I only did a few as a sample and didn't go all out in decorating them either... but I think this is what I am going to do as favors now to find cheap cute take out boxes for them :)

bubble wrap is awesome! but I have to pop each and every bubble...I just cant help myself *grin* lol Anyways to reality...

as I plan for my wedding in November God is really helping everything come together for us, things seem to be falling right into place. I am getting married at the church I love and am a member at, I found a lovely place to have the reception. I have a dress and a honeymoon booked ^_- and although things with the wedding are coming together other things are falling part like my car *sigh* and Chandlers truck but we know what is wrong with his finally and is getting it fixed :) We have good bit of stuff to do with the house we will be living in cleaning, painting and putting new carpet in...and 2 big things ( bathroom) which needs to be redone and (furance) which needs to be looked at :/

Last Wensday I discovered I had a lump which my doctor told me it was probley a cyst and not to worry but wanted to get it checked out and Thursday I went to have an ultra sound and as I waited in quite dark room I took that time to pray and it seemed like a very long wait but then the doctor came in room and showed me on the screen I had a Fibroadenomas (benign) tumor.
I was happy to hear that it was benign because breast cancer runs on both sides of my family.
I am suppost to go back for a biopsy thursday but that might change...

Sunday my dad was ordained as a deacon and I am very proud of my dad. God has brought him through a lot in his life and seeing my dad grow in Gods word and step up into roles of church is amazing :)

so many things are happening in my life and with my family but I keep trusting in God and leaning on him and I know I can do anything through Him who gives me the strength

Last night at church we had our ministry fair, where you could see what each ministry was about and sign up for and the table with best presentation got money towards that ministry so I actually put one who I thought could use money instead of best table lol I signed up for few new ones this year and one I wasn't sure about doing but Chandler said I should sign up with him lol

Oh-yeah finally got me some nice bicycle shorts so when I go Mountian biking I will be a little more comfy lol

Today was short because of all the running around and waiting I did with my sister helping her get ready for school and stuff she need to take care with fasfa. I got home and I was sitting around at the computer and my dad came up to me and handed me a Tigger Pez! I thought it was really funny since I was just talking about the world's largest pez on my blog and then I told him about it and he thought it was funny and amazed that there was a pez that big.

I have had a good week, Thursday was my sister Kaitlynn's 16th birthday and for her birthday we went out to eat at Texas Road House where we waited a little bit to get in even though I had made resvations...where tons of rolls and cinamon butter was ate...we had a friendly waiter who took care of everything (not to mention patience lol)
...and we even got him to bring out to plates of whip cream which one of kaitlynns friends smeared on kaitlynns face causing everyone to get some lol It was funny.
( my sweetie!! my sister thought it was all his idea so she got him too..)

Then later before we left they came and sang their happy birthday song... and we left for bowling ally, stoping few places on way...we took up 2 lanes...and formed teams on our 3rd try the reset our game which my other sister Tamara was mad because she finally had gotten a strike..lol but next time around I was doing better...well better then I usually do lol We will still finshing up a game when it turned 12 and It was Tamaras 20th birthday then lol And she actually managed to get another strike (I told her it was birthday luck) well we finshed up the game I was winner over all and out of my team and Kaitlynn won on her team lol

Oh yeah there was a guy who was collecting signatures dressed in womens top and shorts...because it was his bacholer party..and his friends told him he would get a dollar for every signature.. well after that we found out 2 other people were having their bacholor / bacholrete party there... (crazy huh)

We got home sang happy bday to kay on Tamaras bday and then ate some cake. (it was delious) and then we sat around until 3am then i went to bed... Then later

I got a new lappy !!

So this weekend I didnt really shop around like I wanted to but thats a good thing! Since it was tax free weekend, I would have tried to justify a lot unecessary purchases...but we made our way to best buy where I got new lappy for my birthday present, we had looked around online and most were good bit of money we even found a really nice laptop which was like having a portable desktop it had 22" screen... and it normally cost 2,5000 or something and we found it for 1,500 but as nice as it was...we didn't need anything like that...and just wanted a laptop that could play some games and was nice...and we looked online and most were 800 well so we looked around and found HP pavilion dv5 with an AMD dual-core processor 2.00GHz, 3g of ram, 250 hd, and good nvida graphics card. Has many ports even hdmi port, lightscribe...and even a little remote lol and it was on sale and it was tax free weekend so ended up paying 599 instead of 900! So I have a new lappy and I really love it! although I dont care for Vista...we managed to fix it lol Its nice and both me and chandler can get use out of it... my old lappy I gave to my parents a months ago....

Yesterday I went mountian bike riding for first time in awhile and we rode one trails we normally did and parts were tough...but I made it to end and when we were on our way back chandler got a cramp :/ so we didnt ride the trail back down, we took another way but it was nice to ride but at same time I don't think I can ride today lol so maybe thursday if the weather is good. I also had gotten a little slack with working out but I got back on track last week and keep with it this week.

I need to get some batteries! and I got few things to do and get few things done because Thursday is my youngest sisters bday and then Friday is my other sisters bday.

It is tax-free weekend where I live so I am thinking about buying a few things with money I got for my birthday... There is a few things I would like to get but I have to stop and ask myself is it worth it...I try to save my money for future things like the house (we) are trying to get built and things to go inside it lol But at the same time I have been saving up and Im working on getting a another part time job. I have applied few places and updated my postal info online and watching for openings there. Well im fixing to go and see what adventures find me today and what I end up getting.

Yesterday was mine and Chandlers 2 years anviersary dating, we were going to celebrate by going to this nice Japanese place where they cook food infront of you...we went their last year for the one year. So I went shopping looking for something nice to wear as my choices at home are getting slim lol well looked around could not find anything I liked or that fit...so I came home and check with my sister she dresses up all time so I figured she might be helpful but I ended up just wearing something of my own. Well we got to the place but it was super packed lol so we went to one of our favorite places and ate (prob to much) and went and walked around in walmart. We left Walmart and thought car sounded funny on right side and we hit bump which made us think def something was wrong...well we pulled over and my back right tire was completely flat :/ (I know) crazy I have bad luck with tires or black cars apparently... anyways this time I made sure I had a jack well but come to find out it was broke some how piece in it had split in half But a guy in a truck came over and got his jack but then we couldn't get the lug nuts out because (suprise) Mine was to big to get them out with...and so was that guys. So we waited on my dad to come help us out... I am thankful that were okay and that atleast this time was not in middle of no where because it had gotten dark. My dad arrived and Chandler got the spare on and we went back to my house and so we just watched tv and cuddle up. Although what happened with car we still had a good day. We have been threw a lot together and I cant imagen life with out him... I cant wait to be his wife!

Chandler suprised me with a new bible its beautiful blue and green and even has my name engraved at the bottom. I have never had a bible with my name engraved so that was nice. Also that was not the only thing he suprised me with, he had the bible in awesome new shoulder bag/ backpack which was really awesome it was just like a bible cover I wanted along time ago. ^_^

We were talking and then he said maybe I shouldn't have put your last name in it lol because its going to mine soon enough lol But its still something I will cherish.

Wacky Weenkend

Some how I managed to get the cold/flu during summer ... I know you must be thinking what? well...so most my weekend was spent with horrible aches and pains of the flu/cold with the burning fire throat or running or stuffy nose...or feeling weak :/ although it was kinda weird Saterday morning I felt like I wasn't going to make it through work...I kept having to take a lot breaks but I managed to feel better as day went on..So we ended up going to look at the home place which was little tough to find since I forgot to get directions before we left lol When we got their we found a helpful guy who told us about the company and all good things to know... Their was tons of different plans to choose from and they had 6 maybe 7 different demo house to look at so each one we went in was like wow! They all seemed lovely we found one that was so awesome but def not in our price range but other one we liked was more of our price. He told us we go over each detail and decided what we want to do...and he said he will take bids of certain jobs and find us person with best deal on flooring or w.e. we need or choose to do... and so got his card and now we have alot to think about we went bowling that night as well with my youngest sister and we have fun I bowled a 99 I said I need a shirt that I am pro Wii bowler lol well and sunday I didnt feel so great but I went to church any ways my Sunday school class was going swimming and having a cook out but I didnt want to get any one sick and I wasnt feeling up to it and I went to my sweeties house and his lovely mother got me tissues because she knew I was sick :) I got to play Rock Band for the Wii and it was interesting I only played a few times though so Im still getting used to it but I really like the drums even though I kept failing :/ lol
but sunday was a day of thought about everything going on about the house and such and what if's came to be considered and so we are praying about it and as much as I (want) this house, I want to hear God above all.

Is it not funny how you can have so many thoughts in your head but yet be so unfocused? Thats is how I am today along with sinus/allergies bothering me...I am sneezing alot and my throat feels soo dry but today has been going fast which is good :) when your at work. Well I was talking to the bank I bank with about loans and appartently have awesome new loans for houses but for build/getting a modular one you may have to do 2 different loans... I was like hmm.... so saterday we are going to talk with a company who does the holmes and get information. I have not really kept up with my work out this week because of work and all :/ hmm but Im try to get in some today right after work. I want to read more but I read little bit then I become unfocused on what Im reading and its sad...even if its interesting to me...I just cant read like I used to... hmm any ways more paper work to do :/

Hunting---> for a house

So after house hunting and going to look at a house, which we thought was eh okay but more we thought about it and price we thought it would be good for us and I told Chandler that we should go look at the house once more and we had been praying about it and so I had schduled another appointment to look at the house, even my parents were coming to view it with us, well an hr before we go to look at it...the agent called and asked if we had got approved yet and I said no because we had not got chance to do so and she told me the owners did not want us to see it until we were approved. I was upset about that I couldnt help but think if they really wanted that house sold I dont see why 5min look would hurt them if anything it would have helped them because we were serioulsy intereseted in the house and even my parents were comming to see it... and I know that house has been on market for along time too, and I did not like the way the agent handle things...they should told us alot sooner then at the last minute, and she was not helpful. Well after hearing that I was a bit discouraged...I was like this must be a sign this place is not for us...but then weekend approached and figured might as well not worry about any house stuff over 4th July weekend... well my mom had seen this house in paper and thought it was nice and I looked and found it online...it was 10k more then one was looking at but this house was 2years old and very nice...we really liked it and was going to look at it but also realized its in area that is eh not the best...then we also began looking at modular holmes and could have a nice thats new and way we want it for around same price range.. and so I talked to my dad and we are going to put house right beside theirs on the 10 acres thats besides my parents house.

- now to find a company we want to build it and to talk with the bank about a loan and also to find that career that works for me.

Work was busy but today I got my government rebate check ( oh-yeah) plus it was pay week and although I didn't get any hrs for past 2 weeks it still nice to get a little something lol and not only that but I got a package in the mail today I was so excited it was from my "secret sister" which was a pair of awesome blue flip flops! She also wrote a very sweet note ^_^ I have really enjoy participating in the secret sister events...its always fun. Today me and my Fiance got to talking and looking at this house its cute and small but in our price range and we called about looking at it and we are going to see it tomorrow!! I cant wait we spent time in lowes today looking at stuff getting ideas. Then we sat around with my family watching National Treasure 2 which was a good movie.

Saterday was busy day at work, had a lot of different people coming in because of the strawberry festival, well Chandler stopped by my work at the end of my work day, He look very good too ^_- and then he left and I finshed up my work so I could leave, on my way to his house I was running my hand threw my hair and felt a bump...I got to his house to find out I had gotten a tick and it was on my head :( but Chandler and his mom were able to get it out. It was beautiful Saterday sun was out and shining and we had some bbq from our church and then went for a ride and headed towards the mountains and stopped by this little place out in no where to get shakes, we got strawberry shakes in celebration of strawberry festival, they were good but they were really thick shakes kinda got tired of trying to drink it after awhile lol so when we were driving down the road... Chandler had thought it was a snake in road and tried to avoid it but then heard this noise and we stop where we was able too... then got out to find it was stap that holds things down in truck or something the hook part was more like a nail part and went straight in my tire...and when chandler got it out it went flat really fast... well got spare out and discovered I had no jack, we waited out in middle of nowhere for an hour for his dad to bring us one... it wasn't to bad of await atleast it wasn't a really hot day... but then after the shake and all...I started to need use bathroom >_> well we got back to his house they plugged the tire and we sat around and watched The Core, I had missed the beginng of it but it seemed like nice movie. That night I was leaving made sure my tire was okay and drove home and this plastic part that had came undone and made this very annoying sound all way home, but atleast I had made it safely.

Sunday I went to church and it was nice service, then later that day we went and seen Iron Man, which was really good it was awesome!

Strawberryz

Nice Weather

Todays a nice day, beautiful weather and Im here at work lol

Last Friday I got a mountian bike, so me and Chandler would have something else to do besides gameing, and I am im trying to get in shape so, I thought this works. We rode around a little bit around where he lives on Saterday because Friday it was rainy. Well sunday was nice but very cold and very windy, yet it was sunny day... but we went to lake and walked around instead...the water has been down.
so Tuesday we planned to go on our first mountain trail, I had a head ache and my back hurt but I took some advil, I was not going to let that get in way of going. We went up to Paris Mountian and rode some of the trails there and ended up riding for 6miles or so. It was nice and I couldnt believe I rode that much lol well Wensday my back was killing me and Chandler had school, and my great uncle Pete passed away, he hung in their for longer then they said he would but Im glad he is no longer suffering, and to find out that Gene had also died the same day which was just very weird. Thursday was nice I got to eat lunch with Chandler and we planed to ride that afternoon after he got off work, well this time we tried out a new trial, which eh I didnt like so much but the other half of the trail was nice. I made the mistake of taking on something I wasnt ready for and I got hurt, I got hit by my handle bar and not in nice spot to get hit "ouch" yeah I have a bruise. Well todays going okay so far, I ate lunch with my grandma today and found out my uncle got her a nice laptop O_O yeah Grandma with computer= crazyness. She doesnt even know anything about how to use one, so this should be interesting >_> Anyways its almost closing time woohoo!
